Being a Mom is So Worth It: Sharing the Love
I thought since Mother’s day is just a few days away, we could have a time of sharing among us Moms. I’d like for us to all share something we love about being a mom.
It may just be something your child said or did recently that made you say, “Wow, this is why being a mom is so worth it.”
Of course, I know you’re going to make me go first in sharing so I’ve listed a few things I love about being a mom.
First of all, saying I am a mom is just another way of saying I am blessed. My children are two of the greatest blessings that the Lord could ever have given me.
- I love to watch them play and laugh together.
- I love when as babies they would pucker up their little lips and give big slobbery kisses. (only acceptable from my kids)
- I love that they run to me for love when they get little boo boos.
- Most of all though, I love that they’re mine to care for and shower with tons of unconditional love.
Okay, now it’s your turn to share. It doesn’t have to be as long as mine. I got a little carried away. Even if you don’t normally comment, it’s okay. Just jump right in. The “submit comment” button won’t bite any harder than your little one has bitten you before. I promise.
What do you love about being a mom? Do you have any special mommy stories to tell or moments to share? I can’t wait to hear your responses.

I love how they get excited about the simplest of things. Right now Chloe (2) loves worms. I love the look she gives me as I find them for her when we are gardening. She thinks I am the best mom in the world for being able to procure them for her! LOL. If only life would always be so sweet and simple!

I love when my son (nearly 2) finds a book he likes and quietly walks over, sits in my lap and hands it to me to read.
I love the big slobbery kisses too
I love hearing him say mum mum mum when he’s all excited that I’m home after being out for a while.
I love the little smiles I get when I go into their rooms in the morning to get them up to start the day.
I could go on and on and on I love my little men to absolute bits and I love being a mom!! Thanks for this Amanda I hope you have a lovely mother’s day this Sunday
What a lovely idea! It is a bittersweet time for us, as our baby is nearing his 1st birthday. We’re pretty certain 2 boys is all for us, and I’m just in awe at how quickly our little ones are growing and changing!
The baby, well he is just so full of loves and kisses, I could eat him up all day! He is a happy, jolly little guy, and I’m loving seeing his little personality evolve!
My oldest “baby” is now 4 and is such a love. During a recent gymnastics class he stopped not 4, but 5 times to come over to the lobby to tell me how much he loves me. I was near tears.
Although I didn’t end up having any girls, I do have some pretty sweet little boys and am so blessed! Thanks for giving up the opportunity to share some of our sweet moments Amanda!
