Where Have I Been?

I guess the last time you heard from me, I was about to leave for my brother’s wedding. Well, right before we left, my husband decided, since we were going to be down with family for the wedding, we might as well stay a few extra days. So we did.

Once we got back home, I started planning a mini-vacation for just the four of us to take before my son started back to school.

We went to Chattanooga, Tennessee and had a wonderful time. The kids really loved the Tennessee Aquarium, the Creative Discovery Museum, and riding theĀ  Tennessee Valley Railroad train.

Then my son started school. I can’t believe my first born is already in first grade. They grow up so fast.

In the middle of all that traveling and planning, we decided it was time to start some home improvement projects which includes major decluttering/purging.

We’ve lived in the same place now for over ten years and have accumulated way more than enough stuff, and it’s time to simplify.

So, Where Have I Been?

Simply Put: Here…there…and downright busy!

I wanted to let you know where I’ve been so you wouldn’t think something was wrong. Hopefully, now that my son is in school I will be able to get back on a somewhat normal schedule.

I’ll still be working on all those home projects though, so posting may continue to be a little sporadic for a while.

How’s your summer going?
